Speaking at the convention?

Pretty good article here:

Good point that the Republicans somehow need to appear they accept Paul's ideas to win in November.
Benton suggested that how Paul is treated by the party at the convention and beyond may dictate what becomes of the Texas congressman’s supporters in November. “If they reach out and are accepting, a lot of people are going to stay with the Republicans. If they shun us, a lot of people will stay home, walk away or go third party,” Benton said.

Real ID

This is a prediction for what the Real ID will be. Simply put all state's drivers licenses will have the same basic layout and they will all contain a digital copy of your fingerprint. Fingerprint scanners will become required and posted everywhere, federal buildings at first then expanding to schools etc. You will simply need your ID in your wallet and put your thumb on a scanner just to get into the post office, etc.
It may sound a little far fetched but it's already here for all federal employees and contrators: http://www.defenselink.mil/news/newsarticle.aspx?id=18190

NAFTA Superhighway

Yes the candidates should answer what their thoughts on this highway is. They should also answer why they laughed and called Paul nuts for thinking this was a superhighway.

Silly Argument

The debate was frustrating, no time for Paul, he was cut way short everytime but one. This one time was worth the snubs, Paul calls the McCain/Romney scuffle, "rather silly"

Time Machine

So what would the current candidates do if they were present during the 1st Revolution (1775 or so).
Clinton would be trying to marry the king so she could one day rule the empire.
Obama would be fighting to increase taxes on tea.
Edwards would be making money suing the inventor of the Steam Boat for putting hard working oarsmen like his father out of work.
McCain would be trying to conquer the entire continent to grow the British Empire and kill all the Native Amerian-Fascists in the process.
Romney would be throwing tea in Boston Harbor, because caffeine is wrong.
Guiliani would be arresting Thomas Paine for treason.
Huckabee would be pushing to make the Bible literally the law of the new land.
Ron Paul would be first in line to sign the Declaration of Independence but he'd be fighting to remove the excess of power the constitution gives the new government.

Where's this Paul

In his 1984 House farewell address, Paul said, "Special interests have replaced the concern that the Founders had for general welfare. Vote trading is seen as good politics. The errand-boy mentality is ordinary, the defender of liberty is seen as bizarre. It's difficult for one who loves true liberty and utterly detests the power of the state to come to Washington for a period of time and not leave a true cynic.

Maybe his commercials should simply be clips from his house speeches. Warning of Bin Laden, the worthless dollar, government waste, etc.

President Sanford?

I'm still hopeful Paul will get the nomination and choose Sanford for VP, but Sanford for Pres would be a good second option. I'm seeing some press towards a brokered convention would bring someone completely new to be the nominee.
I think Paul's ideas are both 200 years in the past yet 40 years too early. Sanford sounds like a good bridge to start reducing government towards Paul's ideal small federal size.
